AOSOS CareerZone works with the JobZone module to provide features customized for student career explorers, professional educators and young adults beginning their job search.It’s unique portfolio feature guides users step-wise through various self and career exploration tools enabling youth to explore the world of work and prepare for future career possibilities. While completing the exercises, CareerZone builds the student’s career planning document together with a professional looking resume and other job search documents. Students can search for jobs, colleges and apprenticeship opportunities.
Designed for students from sixth grade and up, distinct user experiences provide for age-appropriate look-and-feel and language levels. A special STEM module introduces younger users to STEM careers and provides a rich library of resources for all users. A budget feature enables older students to develop financial literacy skills and plan for their future.
Teachers and other educators may use management and messaging functions to stay on top of assignments and student progress, and may use and share innovative lesson plans.
